Leap ‘n’ Age

“We must not yield to the spirit of the age, but compel the age to do homage to HaShem. If He be with us, we shalt not crave toleration for religion, but we shall seek to seat it on the throne of society. How, then can we be the servants of custom, the slaves of human opinion? Too many are silent because diffident, if not cowardly. Should we allow the Name of the L-RD to be kept in the background? Should our religion drag along as a tail? Should it not rather lead the way and be the ruling force with ourselves and others?”

In my personal dictionary of English/American/Hebrew/Yiddish Sign Language, the sign for “Duty” is the same as the sign for the name “David”.
And likewise, to me, this is why King David had to be enthroned – because he was an Observant Jew. Reliable and confident in doing those things he was commanded of HaShem of hosts to do. He always followed through and saw to it that the Word of HaShem was carried out and performed with exactness. Hence, he was destined to progress and become King and the perfect father-figure for one who was called God’s Son, or Solomon/Jedidiah.
Though he had his failings and such as brought him much sorrow and affliction in his latter days and end. He succeeded and knew his will would be performed beyond the grave and was permitted by his own foresight to enjoy a glimpse of the future greatness of the Kingdom of G-d upon earth in his son, Solomon, who was wise beyond his years and beloved of his G-d, until he too, like his father before him, stumbled in the sins of the flesh (Nehemiah 13:26), which the entire Kingdom was enjoying very much, perhaps too much of during his reign due mostly to the abundance of all things the people of the Book had to enjoy.
Solomon, in his beginnings, sought to instill a staunch set of values and set high standards for the average citizen and especially for the more noble-minded souls enjoined to co-exist in his age and magnificent dynasty. He himself did not wish to use the riches stored up by warfare which his father David had laid up for him and so production of the Temple build was slow but all the more significant and satisfying for those who know and love HaShem with all their might, mind and strength. It not only afforded a lot of time for planning, detailed work, and goals Heaven inspired in many co-laborers, working together; it also required of the same and all the citizens of the Kingdom to do teshuva, and a lot of personal work on their own souls, habits, talents, etc. All were gifted with an immense amount of time on their hands and freedom to grow spiritually as well as intellectually through Torah study and its many branched sciences, schools of thought, tempered, transitional trades and vocations of life, not to mention opportunities to pursue various sports, arts and crafts legitimate (Proverbs 22:6).
It was a leap age, I imagine in more ways than I may!

It was a blessed generation One may only compare to today’s day and age, in which the youth had the opportunity to overcome, outwit and outdo the machinations of an evil generation set on holding them down and keeping them back if not out of the Kingdom they were born to build up, inhabit and enjoy with much of everything save want on every hand.
But we must never forget the reason for such blessings: The L-RD’s House was our main fixation and dedication of our lifestyle One. Everything seemed possible and permissible and indeed was as long as this Truth remained central to our socio-economic and religious consciousness – the selfish and the egotistic were banished along with the corrupt and corrupting by our willingness to devote ourselves to G-d and One another rather than living to self and dying the ignominious death that such brings upon an entire nation led astray by idols, covetousness and moral decay of a train wreck’s momentum and speed, Ala Viva Las Vegas!
The Way kept everyone on track so that if the train went off the track, it was easy to get back on and into the scene crispy and clean, though inside one may have still felt a bit obscene surrounded and pricked within by the grandeur of G-d and living in His Kingdom, for the set time had indeed come for Zion’s first real outpouring of heavenly support and companionship.

The wanderer of darkness by Arpan DasOf course, nothing lasts forever, but for that and this Age One should think it worth all the time and trouble of getting there, whilst listening to the clamor of the children of Israel en route “Are we there yet? Murmur, murmur, murmur…” and an etc. for good measure!
Most, if not all, had been convicted of sin and departure, neglect and its consummate result, misery wide-spread. And so the pleasure of G-d’s company and the day to day raising of the bar, so to speak, by elite believers was hard to keep up with and match for the show. G-d was at work everywhere in everyone and the difference of being found wanting was immense at times and so depressing for a lot of people, but then, wasted youth usually knows its own sorrows and age has enough mutual benefit to live off of in a Torah-based society, of whose younger generation much more is asked of on their behalf and sevenfold more in a Messianic Age of Last chances and spurned romances for something better awaits than a deceitful heart’s delusion. The game is afoot! The consequences of non-involvement, of going astray, self-seeking, departing from the extraordinary are not worth by any means or stretch of the imagination the loss of full participation and exaltation in sharing of G-d’s Gift! Which at that time as now was as hard to avoid as being caught in a Spring downpour without an umbrella which no one in his right mind and sense should wish to have when saturation equals cleansing and renewal. Heck, the homeless had all the advantages and still do! Lucky duckies!
Quite the opposite of Haggai 1:9! By anyone’s standards, it is much better to be included than to be cast out, but when G-d Himself gathers the outcasts and restores the good fortune of His People, everyone, no matter what his situation or standing in society has reason to be glad in the Work and Wonder going on around and within Us! And to be blessed with participation is beyond anyone’s wildest worldly expectations! We don’t have to worry about Olam Haba! The Afterlife will take care of Itself, being here and there NOW is a completely unanticipated Gift beyond describing but once realized, its a no-brainer, as they say, you’ll want to be where all day? Doesn’t matter, because the earth is covered and full up to the brim of every man’s cup with the knowledge of G-d! Lechayim!
Chabakuk 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the da’as (knowledge) of the kavod (glory) Hashem, as the waters cover the yam (sea).
Very humbling and exalting come to pass indeed! Making both the beggar and rich man, foolish and wise One and the same and equally important to all who know from whence our blessings flow…

“Praise to God, immortal praise,
for the love that crowns our days;
bounteous source of every joy,
let thy praise our tongues employ:
all to thee, our God, we owe,
source whence all our blessings flow.”

the pointOf course, there will still be enemies and the opposition to face and deal with every day but armed with truth, love and virtue, nothing may stand in the Way of G-d’s people no matter where they hail from (Isaiah 30:21).
Welcome home everywhere, everyone!
For Solomon, being a Heavenly Head to a Heavenly Kingdom on earth must have been a very difficult duty to perform and fulfill as an office or situation called (or forced upon) to when all about and around him was a Kingdom most jubilant and blessed, feeling triumphant most of the time. Their sins covered, must have nevertheless been often grievous because of the rich store of freedom granted all the king’s horses and men. Though it were a time of ‘peace’ and ‘prosperity’, such times must lead the overconfident and unwary alike, sevenfold the ignorant into many more sins than they commit in warfare or want, plague or disease. Strife and vain glory are hard to wrestle with and overcome. G-d be praised! We have people that actually require us to be humbler and meeker than we may feel.
The sacred Duty and Observance of King David instilled in his son Solomon, must have been very difficult to maintain. Many must have been actively scheming and plotting to make this ‘son of man’ fall victim to any weakness mortal flesh is heir to and to fulfill the Scripture Psalm 62:4 must have been his enemies constant vigil in opposition to his own better nature and judgment. The temptation to let down his guard, partake in lawful revelries and unlawful paganistic leaning feasts or sacrificial carousing also popular at the time must have been overwhelming and rampant among the more base amongst Israel and the mixed-multitude who craved and paved the way for the same, entirely forgetting the wilderness sojourn, shared wartime misery and loss and the shared experience’s Point, much more so in this age than in the ancient biblical One.
As it is written, ‘The more things change the more they stay the same.’

loveitAnd so we probably have more need of reminders daily than they. And that is the Point of Unity and Brotherhood occupied with a noble goal and vision to fulfill. The Desire of the Ages has come upon Us. Hava Nagila! But keep it in hand and check, lest we fail as any and many generations now have, and invented as many excuses and abuses in corruption of government and authority from head to tail and body throughout to cover for and make up the lost time and chances of, leaving many in unwanted situations with a body politic equally so and unforgivably actually wanting to make merchandize of the same unwanted reality in sustaining an even more unforgivable and demeaning one all consequence and results shameful and unpalatable to the taste and imagination of heirs to a better Faith, Hope and Love of Charity cherished as it is able to afford all with the charm of if we make dutiful, observant occupation our Name and Nation, for David’s sake!
Sukkot5772034Deuteronomy 8:2,3 You shall remember all the way which the L-RD your G-d has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the L-RD.

Sukkot5772017Too much of a good thing always leads to a departure from its rhyme and reason as meat in due season should elevate the soul rather than bring it down, and yield an increase for strength and not for drunkenness. Isaiah 1:13; Amos 5:21. But being dutiful and observant leads to good rewards and a clean conscience and trusted integrity. Psalm 104:27; 145:15; Matthew 24:45; Luke 12:42. The Treasury of David and his worthy steward’s Exalted Trust.

13To be doubted or unbelieved in is the righteous man’s worst nightmare.
Therefore, judge nothing…Ecclesiastes 7:28; 1 Corinthians 4:5
Human nature loves to party and socialize even at our soul’s expense. And this lesser nature, when run amok and abused unwisely, destroys heavenly providence or causes the windows of heaven to shut. Hard to maintain dignity, integrity and not give in and despair of life when all around you are false admirers and those who wish you ill.
Psalms 62:4 “They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.”

davidstrustA balance was achieved and maintained, at least so long as all were working on the same project and were constantly busy, but the same was not the Point of the Project Divine, nor is it so with the Way of Holiness. The “expected end” is a time of rest glorious for a secure and stablished people United, who have an excess of time on their hands for an observant religious lifestyle, to ‘daily perform our vows’ holy, sacred and soul-enriching to such an extent that the entire Creature/Creation feels an enormous sense of Liberty and Life renewed in an exalted, edified, elevated, noble, wise state more confident in one’s own particular gifts and abilities, which when poisoned or polluted by or with idolatry make of the entire village an idiot lazy, presumptuous and stupid, become what we are not and should not be – namely: selfish, covetous, deceptive, gain-saying and manipulative to the point of destroying foundations and obliterating the Oneness of G-d in Creation out of spiteful indifference, hatred baseless, guileful bitterness and envy or just good ole’ fashioned folly for failure’s sake!

Tehillim 85:8 I will hear what HaEl Hashem will say; for He will speak shalom unto His people, and to His Chasidim; but let them not turn again to folly.
Missing the mark is seven times more grievous than pulling a lark or ignoring the light and spark when left in the dark (Kefa II 1:19) out of spite quite like the bark of a dog always hungry and napping too oft (Isaiah 56:10), or when active – always at play – never taught to stay and to do as did the true blue who knew how to share, care for and shoe a horse, keep sheep on course to safer pastures as David once kept and One as all enjoyed, even when annoyed at the bark of a dog or growl of some fowl reminding them of borders and lines not to be crossed, lest they end up otherwise bossed to suffer from the lost the cost of trespass and debt, the most likely kismet of going astray from the right narrow Way for even a day, it doesn’t pay to be criminal not even in the subliminal.

shadyslimKefa I 2:25 For you were KULLANU KA’TZON TA’INU (“all of us like sheep we went astray” YESHAYAH 53:6), for you were as sheep being led astray, but you made teshuva (returned) now to the Ro’eh [YECHEZKEL 34:1-16] and Mashgiach (Overseer/Shepherd IYOV 10:12) of your nefashot (souls).
After all, even a Coca~cola bottle marked with your own name ain’t nothing like the real thing, baby, in you and You know Who.

Kehillah in Corinth I 5:6
Your boasting is not good. Do you not have da’as that a little chametz all the mixture leavens?
Kehillah in Galatia 5:9
A little chametz leavens all habatzek (the dough, T.N. see Pesach Haggadah).
A little leaven is sufficient to cheer up a merry heart and enliven a weary soul, but the real you, sans leaven, is heavenly, just as G-d made you to be. And so, ’tis better to toot your own horn and tout your own swag, than be led astray by a dime to crime or dame to fame snare without a care in a very old game and its price dog to pig fed by take a swig and dig for the dead led on to your doom for taking bad advice not worth its price.
Proverbs 26:24-28 He who hates, dissembles with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart; when he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred be covered with guile, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly. He who digs a pit will fall into it and a stone will come back upon him who starts it rolling. A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin.
Matthew 16:25-26 Anyone who wants to save his life, must lose it. Anyone who loses his life will find it. What gain is there if you win the whole world and lose your soul? What may you offer in exchange for your own life?

Keep life sweet! And you’ll never be bitter, and you’ll be able to make, G-d be praised! the bittersweet moments last forever.
Mishle 25:16
Hast thou found devash? (a little honey) Eat only as much as is sufficient for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it out.

loutsAs the Black Sheep once lyricised, you may get with this or that but consider well the price and consequence before you leap, especially in a leap year such as we are living in – ain’t never no good reason for self-sabotage/treason as our sagacious sister quipped in the viral video mass consumed, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” Because when you fall or fail there be not many who got time for thee even though she love company, Miss Misery, she’ll shuffle and stuffle you among the potsherds left behind where ain’t nobody got much time to be kind…the world waits for no man.
Mosiah 4:27 And see that all these things are done in wisdom and order; for it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength. And again, it is expedient that he should be diligent, that thereby he might win the prize; therefore, all things must be done in order.
Break-neck speeds and train wrecking deeds, all that misleads are hard to recover from and are probably why our national debt is Heaven High. Solutions have to come from far and wide to heal some heads that were way too full of much pride, arrogance and militant tyranny. Treachery and piracy being an unforgivable necessity in keeping things lawful and legit when none are born to fit the cut above the rest low down and dirty for whom the show must go on and on…

Behold, I say unto you, that there is no resurrection—there is a time appointed that all shall rise from the dead. Now there must needs be a space betwixt the time of death and the time of the resurrection. And now I would inquire what becometh of the souls of men from this time of death to the time appointed for the resurrection? Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection—Behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men, as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life. Now, there are some that have understood that this state of happiness and this state of misery of the soul, before the resurrection, was a first resurrection. Yea, I admit it may be termed a resurrection, the raising of the spirit or the soul and their consignation to happiness or misery, according to the words which have been spoken. Now, whether the souls and the bodies of those of whom has been spoken shall all be reunited at once, the wicked as well as the righteous, I do not say; let it suffice, that I say that they all come forth; or in other words, their resurrection cometh to pass before the resurrection of those who die after the resurrection of Christ. Now, my son, I do not say that their resurrection cometh at the resurrection of Christ; but behold, I give it as my opinion, that the souls and the bodies are reunited, of the righteous, at the resurrection of Christ, and his ascension into heaven. But whether it be at his resurrection or after, I do not say; but this much I say, that there is a space between death and the resurrection of the body, and a state of the soul in happiness or in misery until the time which is appointed of God that the dead shall come forth, and be reunited, both soul and body, and be brought to stand before God, and be judged according to their works. Yea, this bringeth about the restoration of those things of which has been spoken by the mouths of the prophets. From Alma 40.

wallholeAh, a breakthrough at last!
Timotiyos II 2:19 Al kol panim (nevertheless), the solid yesod of Hashem stands firm and zicher (certain), having this seal: V’YODA’ Hashem ES ASHER LO (“Hashem KNOWS THE ONES WHO ARE HIS” BAMIDBAR 16:5); and let everyone who names the name of Hashem depart from avel (iniquity, gross injustice).
The men of Nineveh will stand up at the Yom HaDin with this generation and they will condemn it, for the men of Nineveh made teshuva at the hatafah (preaching) of Yonah, and, hinei, something much greater than Yonah is here. The Queen of the South will be made to stand up alive at the Yom HaDin with this generation and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to the chochmah of Shlomo and, hinei, something much greater than Shlomo is here. Now when the ruach hatameh (unclean spirit) goes out from the man, it goes through dry places seeking a manoach (resting place) and it does not find one. Then it says, Into my haunt I will return from where I came out. And having come out, it finds the bais standing empty, having been swept and having been put beseder (in order). Then it goes and takes along with itself seven other ruchot more evil than itself and, having entered the residence, it sets up house there, and the last state of that man has become worse than the first. Thus, it will be with this evil generation also. Mattityahu 12:41-45
Glory Be or Not To Be? That is the question…

kevodAll kingdoms have a law given; And there are many kingdoms; for there is no space in the which there is no kingdom; and there is no kingdom in which there is no space, either a greater or a lesser kingdom. And unto every kingdom is given a law; and unto every law, there are certain bounds also and conditions. All beings who abide not in those conditions are not justified. And he who cannot abide the law of a celestial, terrestrial, or telestial kingdom cannot abide a celestial, terrestrial, or telestial glory; therefore he is not meet for a kingdom of glory. Therefore, he must abide a kingdom which is not a kingdom of glory. D&C 88
Business, as usual, has no point, no goal, no direction, no credit or merit and consequently no authoritative right divine.
We The People have endured all things and lasted as long as we have because of a Forever Faith keeping us above and among the living, but we are not all authentically so; alive, I mean, and the only thing that grants us the right or privilege to exist in anywise is our Duty and Observant, Intent Living.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these melachim (kings) shall the G-d of Shomayim (Heaven) set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these mamlechot (kingdoms), and it shall stand for ever [Lk 1:32-33].
Yochanan 10:14

As Clint Eastwood once pointed out in words quite fitting which I cannot remember, but wrecking badly and in heaps tends to lead to tons of trouble and lots of racism among those brought low by the D’oh! in Springfield County anywhere’s on earth feeling the dearth of its untimely misbirth…Google and all search engines quickly buried the quote…we may never find it…but it was brilliant, even if ‘the chair’ wasn’t listening. Basically, more or less, the gist of what he said is that poverty and inequity lead to bad reactions from just about anyone, no matter what your ethnic background or color of skin may be. We tend to appreciate our own kind who we may still commiserate with us over and above accepting the help of foreigners even if we need stoop to lower and lower forms of remedy and resolution, combination and abomination to come up with solutions quickly gone out of style for a love of laying in a pile or mire of delirium comfortably numb on the dark side of the moon.

“I’m interested in the fact that the less secure a man is made by the society in which he trusts, the more likely he is to have extreme prejudice.” ~ Clint Eastwood [Quote found and added on 27 Nissan 5776 @ 12:45 pm Eastern Standard Time]

1 Nephi 16:2 the guilty taketh the truth to be hard, for it cutteth them to the very center.
Even a mercenary led force of seemingly aimless warfare, if perceived aright – keeps rank, obeys orders, is dutiful and has a greater sense and understanding of the entire undertaking in hand than an outsider seeking to curse the same; (i.e., Balak /Balaam) so that even those soldiers and units of them ignorant of the greater picture or grander scope of vision seen by superiors they don’t always appreciate or understand (Esther 2:21), will see enough and know enough just by dutifully carrying out said orders to be rewarded more than medals and honors of service valiant for the Nation Brave and Free, but a sure part, place and portion; reason and right to enjoy the season of delight in which his country ‘Tis of Thee shall be comforted and peacefully glory in as promised each by Covenant kept and his own willing service for G-d, mankind and nation whose G-d is HaShem of Hosts! Lechayim! Everybody toasts! But let none be ignorant of the reasons plentiful for fighting the good fight for, of, and by the righteous, of whom it is said the L-RD delights to honor, prosper, etc.

Be no April Fools this year, keep the Pesach in its month, time and season for very good reason. Today is 20 Adar II 5776 which second month of the year 5776 ends on the 29th of the same when the month Nissan begins (April 8/9) in which the festival of Pesach/Passover (two weeks later) is kept by all those written in the Book of Life or in Heaven. Being a Fool has a hefty price no one may afford! Don’t be left hangin’…

“We have only to follow the thread of the hero path. Where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god; where we had thought to slay another, we shall slay ourselves; where we had thought to travel outwards, we shall come to find the center of our own existence; where we had thought to be alone, we shall be with all the world.”
