The Servant of the L-RD
Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the L-rd called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name. He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver. He said to me,
“You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.”
But I said,
“I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing at all. Yet what is due me is in the L-rd’s hand, and my reward is with my God.” And now the Lord says— he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes of the L-rd and my God has been my strength—he says:
“It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”
This is what the L-rd says—the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel—to him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the servant of rulers:
“Kings will see you and stand up, princes will see and bow down, because of the L-rd, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.
Restoration of Israel
This is what the L-rd says:
“In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances, to say to the captives,
and to those in darkness,
They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill!
They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.
I will turn all my mountains into roads, and my highways will be raised up.
See, they will come from afar—
some from the north, some from the west,
some from the region of Aswan.”
Shout for joy, you heavens;
rejoice, you earth;
burst into song, you mountains!
For the L-rd comforts his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
But Zion said,
“The L-rd has forsaken me,
the L-rd has forgotten me.”
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.
Your children hasten back,
and those who laid you waste depart from you.
Lift up your eyes and look around;
all your children gather and come to you.
As surely as I live,” declares the L-rd,
“you will wear them all as ornaments;
you will put them on, like a bride.
“Though you were ruined and made desolate
and your land laid waste,
now you will be too small for your people,
and those who devoured you will be far away.
The children born during your bereavement
will yet say in your hearing,
‘This place is too small for us;
give us more space to live in.’
Then you will say in your heart,
‘Who bore me these?
I was bereaved and barren;
I was exiled and rejected.
Who brought these up?
I was left all alone,
but these—where have they come from?’”
This is what the Sovereign L-rd says:
“See, I will beckon to the nations,
I will lift up my banner to the peoples;
they will bring your sons in their arms
and carry your daughters on their hips.
Kings will be your foster fathers,
and their queens your nursing mothers.
They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground;
they will lick the dust at your feet.
Then you will know that I am the L-rd;
those who hope in me will not be disappointed.”
Can plunder be taken from warriors,
or captives be rescued from the fierce?
But this is what the L-rd says:
“Yes, captives will be taken from warriors,
and plunder retrieved from the fierce;
I will contend with those who contend with you,
and your children I will save.
I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh;
they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine.
Then all mankind will know
that I, the L-rd, am your Savior,
your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
Proverbs 8:18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
Doctrine and Covenants 38:39
And if ye seek the riches which it is the will of the Father to give unto you, ye shall be the richest of all people, for ye shall have the riches of eternity; and it must needs be that the riches of the earth are mine to give; but beware of pride, lest ye become as the Nephites of old.

Whether they be London Pounds Sterling, American Dollars, Israeli Shekels, Asian Yuan or Yen, French Francs, Spanish Pesos, Shillings, Dinar, Rupees, Rubles, Bit coins, Kwacha, or Zarahemla Ziff…It’s all the same pennies from Heaven when invested in the L-RD’s Zion.
Whom it is which enables men to get riches, the Same is He who creates all things and those who may or may not enjoy them.
For I will, saith the L-rd, that they shall hide up their treasures unto me; and cursed be they who hide not up their treasures unto me; for none hideth up their treasures unto me save it be the righteous; and he that hideth not up his treasures unto me, cursed is he, and also the treasure, and none shall redeem it because of the curse of the land.
And the day shall come that they shall hide up their treasures, because they have set their hearts upon riches; and because they have set their hearts upon their riches, and will hide up their treasures when they shall flee before their enemies; because they will not hide them up unto me, cursed be they and also their treasures; and in that day shall they be smitten, saith the L-rd.
Behold ye, the people of this great city, and hearken unto my words; yea, hearken unto the words which the L-rd saith; for behold, he saith that ye are cursed because of your riches, and also are your riches cursed because ye have set your hearts upon them, and have not hearkened unto the words of him who gave them unto you.
Doctrine and Covenants 38:18
And I hold forth and deign to give unto you greater riches, even a land of promise, a land flowing with milk and honey, upon which there shall be no curse when the L-rd cometh;
Philippians 4:1919 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Who are they which keep the seventh year of release amongst themselves and the Jubilee in mind so as to practice remission of debts?
Who was so wise as to enrich Solomon when upon the throne of the Kingdom and made him the richest man on earth, though he considered himself or of his own estimation was “as a lad who knew not how to go out or to come in before the peoples? And whose Father, David pleaded with HaShem of Hosts for Jerusalem and his son, yet boasted of being weak, poor and needy when he had gained the throne of Israel and much wealth in war besides.

Some men will flatter the breathe out of one another yet hate in their hearts all they may know.
Some may hardly give authentic praise to Whom it is due.
Say not in your heart I am rich, I have “acquired much riches by the hand of my industry” (Alma 10:4)
How much less will to render right praise may they who have Zero concern for Whom Christ sought glory eternal of which we may all receive a portion freely?
I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. I am come in my Father’s Name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Micah 6:18; 7:18-20
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
