Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the L-RD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
The L-RD did not put me where I am to assail people with shame and confuse them unto no good end nor purpose. Whatever the state of the living space I had to endure, far worse is endured by others and we endure such to the end, that our inclination might be purified toward Him and one another; affliction and chastisement unto obedience and salvation.
The work they are doing on the edifice verily needs doing and is not to be condemned outright nor halted altogether for anymore reason than concern for the laborers’ safety and the works’ success.
I’m no engineer, but it seems faulty reasoning to work on the façade of a building during inclement weather and otherwise unsafe circumstances.
And so I only intend to arouse the laborers’ better judgment and care for themselves and the works’ sake. To make people aware of the purpose of labor the world over is the Spirit’s work, and why not being aware and maintaining a noble attitude toward our labors and strivings in the world has been in vain for so many and unto so much bitter malevolence toward one another is because we seek not His Will and direction in our lives before taking action. We become Saul’s servants rather than David’s.
1Ch 13:3 And let us bring again the ark of our G-d to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.
The question has never been about race, or superiority of any tribe over another, but G-d’s Choice and Chosen, who must look to G-d for instruction or verily be cut off and of no more use than the dog or swine to Him.
I do not mean to arouse the ire of dogs or swine either. G-d loves all and may use any and all who come to Him and are willing and made able; not presuming to do of their own ability or knowledge but asking G-d to grant that ability and the wisdom they need to fulfill His purpose for them, whether home born, servant or foreigner in our midst. All are to be treated equally and are as important to G-d as His only Son.
A lot of people maintain working status today only and solely for the purpose and hope of wasting another person’s time or frustrating their road through life in any way they might.
Yet, people cling to their employment with bitter claws, doing whatever evil they must to maintain a daily wage unto no one’s good.
By comparison, a vagrant is more noble and viable to a society’s welfare than a 9-5 laborer.
There are no bread winners, because there are no families or homes to be mindful of and the structure of government now being set in place has anything in mind but the welfare of its citizenry. It is even a zoo keeper’s nightmare, but men of vile intent and villainous desires will have their way if we allow them that capacity and advantage and strive to maintain our status quo only without reaching for any higher ground, rather wallowing in the gutter. Saul as Paul had learned from his mistakes and necessary suffering to be more like David.
Act 27:13 And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained [their] purpose, loosing [thence], they sailed close by Crete.
But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let [her] drive.
And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.
And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next [day] they lightened the ship;
And the third [day] we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on [us], all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of [any man’s] life among you, but of the ship.
For there stood by me this night the angel of G-d, whose I am, and whom I serve,
Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, G-d hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe G-d, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.
But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;
And sounded, and found [it] twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found [it] fifteen fathoms.
Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
And while the day was coming on, Paul besought [them] all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
Wherefore I pray you to take [some] meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.
And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to G-d in presence of them all: and when he had broken [it], he began to eat.
Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took [some] meat.
And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.
And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.
And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed [themselves] unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from [their] purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast [themselves] first [into the sea], and get to land:
And the rest, some on boards, and some on [broken pieces] of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.
And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
The corruption that was here was largely self-defensive, very basely cunning and fearfully manipulative. It were the measures of a frightened bullied beast, taken to ensure survival of the unfit during a stormy period in our lives. People were afraid not to be vessels of malice and ill-intent.
When a person has nothing to gain or lose but temporary assuagement of pain and misery constant, you may understand why they take pleasure in hurting others and have no other choice in the matter when we are at war one with another, trying to protect all that may matter. Kill or be killed, quench not the light of Israel.
Our lives saved and what remains of the wreckage are all we need for renewal, restoration and rededication.
Much may seem needful the globe over, but there is an easy way and a hard way to proceed. It remains imperative to know when to say “enough;” having food and raiment let us therewith be satisfied. This is no scant measure. It is indeed a drastic one and very needful. Less is more, and staves off the whore. The point being, to enjoy more and more of that which is essential, rest and ease, proficiency and apt acclimatization.
It is all in the way and manner we keep aware.
For example, in the area of business; If even one man practice unto Torah fulfillment in business, he might be the wealthiest and most beloved individual on earth as it shall be in Heaven, simply because he shall be a vessel unto prosperity and equity abounding by carrying out the L-RD’s will for the tradesman, businessman, distributor, etc.
The L-RD abhors corruption and deceit, false weights and balances.
There are many in this town and state whom prospered through deception and corruption for the longest time, but they have never known what prosperity is, nor abundance, nor certainty, nor self-sufficiency, and most assuredly charity, love and benevolence. They are rich, they boast of having much, own much, make great shows of sharing their wealth, covet progression and take all credit for all what they may have their hands in. But it is the sole fact that their hands have been at work amongst us, that we were so confused, bereft, destitute and wanting. Yet they have unintentionally left us with an gift and advantage we must use.
And it is as easy as the firm resolve NOT to become like them, NOT to practice business in that manner and not to invest unwisely among them. Their greed knows no bound nor end!
They are always investing, always consuming, always one step ahead, but never gaining on a higher ground. They only aspire to gutter the world and be the kings of it.
But, as I say, the L-RD abhors corruption, deceit, unfairness, robbery; “the kingdom of evils,” yet He is not necessarily anti-commerce, commonwealth, and competition.
His disciples see that there is more need for comforting the weak, afflicted, and the taken advantage of so that we often seem to war against the system or rage against the machine. But these are immature ideals. We are called foremost to be healers, instruments of instruction and testimony, vessels of good will and forgiveness, charitable in all circumstances.
Neh 9:27 Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.
The sentiments of the villain are set on gain through forceful encroachments upon the people’s freedoms by way of statute and law unto the paralyzation of mankind’s will to be at ease, trusting, spontaneous, joyous and lively.
It may be militant in demand and should never feel right nor be accepted by anyone born at Liberty.
But through our own rudeness and impertinence, selfishness and ill-cravings we bring these destroyers upon ourselves and must remember it is ours to be mindful, industrious toward G-d and resolved to show forth good will and charity toward our fellow man; forgiving and righting wrongs, maintaining due vigilance so that the mistakes of our past do not haunt our future.
Isa 32:5-8 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the L-RD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
Humility of face sends the devil running for hiding space always and is the key to locking away those demons and evil inclinations what might otherwise mar our daily walk, corrupting and obstructing the way to future, more healthy relations.
Mat 18:32-35 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
We must not cow to the nations of ruthless and greedy men who seek to further enrich and empower themselves by taking advantage of a nation’s media weakened consciousness, nor allow robber barons to do likewise from within our nation, buying out our neighbor’s poor and making merchandize of our children and nation’s dream. We must defend unto the death our neighbors and compatriots both at home and abroad regardless of their status in society. We are all children of G-d.
We have not routed terror to be beaten by greed.
Pro 1:10-19 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. And they lay wait for their [own] blood; they lurk privily for their [own] lives.
So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; [which] taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
