It is written, forgive thine enemy and love those who hate you.
I would also say, defend thine enemy and excuse no trespass against them, nor cover their own against thee.
An offense committed unwittingly, in ignorance or misguided zeal one must excuse and cover with love, but as the scriptures state, He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the L-RD.
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
It is hard goings in the world for one who has “passed from death to life;” one “who will not come into condemnation.” When many around one has or will…
One is “walking through the valley of the shadow of death,” and awake to righteousness, aware that many who were before him and now follow after him have long been dead in trespass and sin, unto whom, one is now as a light to those who dwell in darkness…
Difficult too, for those who are in darkness to make right judgment concerning and usage of an opportunity to enjoy this light none their own…seeing in the dark, if at all, traveling by other people’s Light.
“Hitchhikers Guide To The Universe” comes to mind, though I’ve never read it…I would, from the premise, rename the book, “Bushido of spots and blemishes, sporting themselves while the feast with and upon the living…”
Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Never more important is Torah keeping when thine light has gone out.
It is the only remaining sign to the world that you may be trusted by those around you.
Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Shemot/Exodus 12:49-50 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.’ Thus did all the children of Israel; as HaShem commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
To be otherwise minded is Hamas.
The Lawless seek to stay ahead of the living, to control them, and by law and statute otherwise minded rob them of their Divine Right.
Albeit, some measure of genius goes into the work, it is ultimately detrimental to seek to protect or expose something untoward about whosoever one may love or hate.
Let the Law of G-d stand and the vessel be broken or made/created by the same.
Hamas love the wicked, unfortunately and lose patience easily for the righteous who don’t wish to play their game or stray from Torah.
The righteous, just by being so, may “stop time,” end the party and kill the buzz…
Alma 40: 6-10
Now there must needs be a space betwixt the time of death and the time of the resurrection.
And now I would inquire what becometh of the souls of men from this time of death to the time appointed for the resurrection?
Now whether there is more than one time appointed for men to rise it mattereth not; for all do not die at once, and this mattereth not; all is as one day with G-d, and time only is measured unto men.
Therefore, there is a time appointed unto men that they shall rise from the dead; and there is a space between the time of death and the resurrection.
And now, concerning this space of time, what becometh of the souls of men is the thing which I have inquired diligently of the L-rd to know; and this is the thing of which I do know.
And when the time cometh when all shall rise, then shall they know that G-d knoweth all the times which are appointed unto man.
The old joke, “long live the king” were probably created by Hamas minded scoffers, for the wicked only wish a man long life after he may no longer enjoy life and is dead to life. Then they might congratulate themselves for their wicked cunning and scheming unto the undoing of his hope and ability to cope with the remains of the day or the hereafter.
Pro 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
The art of making it look as though it were his own doing and ill-desire that rent him asunder is all that matters to a Cain wishing to disable an Abel and then take care of him to make G-d seem in error and himself seem worthy.
It comes down to this, “this message will self-destruct.”
Jhn 8:22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
Hbr 9:16-17 ¶ For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Hence Solomon’s demise, undoing, and loss of Kingdom.
A king no doubt wounded in the house of his friends.
Nevertheless, it is very hard to war against the enemies of a real king, and maybe seven times as hard to serve under one…
I think Solomon would be quicker to cover the offenses of friends who had harmed him and help them avoid error in the future by being “the Teacher/Preacher…” he apparently endeavored to be after his own personal fall…
The same amount of difficulty belongs to such an king in discovering who is friends may be…the entire kingdom seeming and indeed often being for and against him…And he entirely desensitized to their needs and wants when all he desired were to please G-d…
The kingdom being left to itself to make up for the difference, spawns “humanity” and altogether does without their King and G-d, discovering the error of doing so all too late again and again until Kingdom come.
Israel must never recognize nor cut deals with an enemy, be it Hamas, Hezbolah, Egypt, Al Quaida, Jihad, what have you…
Lawfulness is difficult enough for righteous, likeminded souls to maintain, never mind with enemies natural born.
Our nation has been in jeopardy during the “War on Terror” not because of threats without, though they may be real and valid, but more important, it has been because of delusions and fears within and anyone bearing witness to the contrary of the delusions and fears of this people and nation is of course, considered a madman, false prophet…an rock of offense…
Isa 8:11 ¶ For the L-RD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
Sanctify the L-RD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Psalm 141: 5-7
Let the righteous strike me;
let the faithful correct me.
Never let the oil of the wicked anoint my head,
for my prayer is continually against their wicked deeds.
When they are given over to those who shall condemn them,
then they shall learn that my words were pleasant.
Like a rock that one breaks apart and shatters on the land,
so shall their bones be strewn at the mouth of Sheol.
Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
To be hurt by someone you love and who may love you, may be the greatest help afforded you in the Latter-days.
In my own case, the instance may have permitted me to escape a much worse fate than I would have suffered otherwise.
Treacherous dealings defile the vessels involved, however and may on the contrary more grievously injure than help those whom one intends to help and protect.
Isa 33:1-2 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
O L-RD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
One really may not blame anyone for taking rewards undo them when available in the process of treachery as their due, when their king may be the chief amongst sinners, and is himself a selfish and greedy example. One should realize that such rewards are ultimately empty and void of worth; doing more harm than good to the recipients than to they who receive nonesuch of an unhealthy, accursed bounty.
Hence, one must wonder, were the “Mutiny on the Bounty” really a mutiny at all?
Nevertheless, excuse none, now is now, then were then and we are now in a position to make right wrongs unto mutual betterment and sustainment.
“In Noah 6:11 the Hebrew word for Hamas = lawlessness, universal corruption, bloodshed, falsehood, deceit it parallels “no justice” in Job 19:7.
People cheated each other and this caused people to lose faith in the power of government to provide them with a fair and livable world and society began to slip into anarchy”
~Etz Hayim commentary
The Boiling Pot
Thus says the Lord God:
Set on the pot, set it on,
pour in water also;
put in it the pieces,
all the good pieces, the thigh and the shoulder;
fill it with choice bones.
Take the choicest one of the flock,
pile the logs under it;
boil its pieces,
seethe also its bones in it.
Therefore, thus says the Lord God:
Woe to the bloody city,
the pot whose rust is in it,
whose rust has not gone out of it!
Empty it piece by piece,
making no choice at all.
For the blood she shed is inside it;
she placed it on a bare rock;
she did not pour it out on the ground,
to cover it with earth.
To rouse my wrath, to take vengeance,
I have placed the blood she shed
on a bare rock,
so that it may not be covered.
Therefore thus says the Lord God:
Woe to the bloody city!
I will even make the pile great.
Heap up the logs, kindle the fire;
boil the meat well, mix in the spices,
let the bones be burned.
Stand it empty upon the coals,
so that it may become hot, its copper glow,
its filth melt in it, its rust be consumed.
In vain I have wearied myself;
its thick rust does not depart.
To the fire with its rust!
Yet, when I cleansed you in your filthy lewdness,
you did not become clean from your filth;
you shall not again be cleansed
until I have satisfied my fury upon you.
I the Lord have spoken; the time is coming, I will act. I will not refrain, I will not spare, I will not relent. According to your ways and your doings I will judge you, says the Lord God.
When the “rust” is not removed, it means the people have ill-used or altogether rejected what G-d would provide them with. The new and better abundance that the L-RD wishes to bestow upon all if they would but honour Him through an obedient heart work…
They may love the Messiah in their own way but are ill prepared always to meet the least of his requirements, unless it be through violence and bloodshed rather than obedience unto commandments.
I’ll be “dogged” if they are not good at what they do, as unlawful and abominable as it may be.
And if they were or could be convinced they might, would still need time to adjust and prepare to meet their G-d, never mind bring a right and lawful sacrifice to Him, never mind the demands of “newness.”
Feeling foolish never helps and a degree of contention must be suffered. However, outright rebellion/usurpation must be squashed and routed.
The Kingdom waits, desiring to be merciful unto all, and Zion may flee altogether if none take up its banners and defense.
Quaint is preferable to abominable, but neither are righteous nor acceptable unto G-d.
Many who were, in a manner of speaking, “first” to “know” (i.e. “fall”), combined and plotted and schemed to profit themselves through the sale of Kingdom gifts meant to prosper all, who now are forced to purchase the same at a price unfair and unjust by unfortunate and unreasonable design and in the end, if not for a sow’s head leading a donkey following (Ham-ass), entirely unnecessary.
It is because those who might profit from such an scenario were never satisfied with their portion of Torah, which they ultimately rejected altogether in favour and in a fashion that might yet permit them to gain by making game of those who are or would always be satisfied with no more than their portion of Torah.
Coping mechanisms, entertainment, remedy mean more to the former than the latter, yet the former’s designs and schemes are only available by the manipulation of the latter who ought to be in the seat of the former and often spared he latter’s gift or sacrifice.
If ever such an notion as karma could be said to be a valid ideation or conceptualization, this perversion of circumstance would be its origination.
Life may be really marvelous and rewarding on all levels, wonderful entirely and satisfying for all concerned when done rightly, in order Divine or with Kavanah Golden and unadulterated.
Trying to capture this, box and sell it, is obviously not the point…the point is, as David revealed, in encompassing it in such an way that it may be, live and flourish at perfect liberty, which is Torah, or love for G-d. Hence the only really new commandment the Messiah gave unto Creation: to love one another.
Thus fulfilling the Law and driving out the Yetzer harah/evil inclination.
This is why chosen youth must lead, and Abbas judge, never to be bullied nor set off course by Hamas or an enemy, who are rather constrained and directed by the judgment and authority of the Abbas under Torah Law.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
“Banayikh=your children, bonayikh=your builders….knowledgable children are the culture builders of the next generation.“ ~Etz Hayim commentary
The word may also mean ”your learned ones; disciples of the L-RD.”
Hamas may never be satisfied with a portion of Torah; being convinced long ago of Its insignificance and lack of importance to their well being, of which they themselves may readily admit means very little to them.
They reject Torah and must therefore be told what to do, when and why by an entity they fundamentally disagree with and may never be a part of.
Ability is no authority whatsoever. Authority is more often bestowed upon the unable but willing and obedient and this creates freedom out of liberty granted. Don’t mess with it…or you’ll lose it as a matter of course.
Anyone may learn and perfect a craft or ability, few indeed master the Authentic Self and cause an craft or ability to become the makings a vessel worthwhile and honourable.
“G-d seeks to create a community, a people, descendants of a G-d-fearing couple, in the hope that the members of that community would sustain and reinforce each other. In that way, ordinary people would be capable of displaying extraordinary behavior.”
“To merit the promised reward, you must so live as to be a blessing to the world.”
~Etz Hayim commentary
That’s fulfillment of Paul’s gospel, as I understand it.
We must become worthy to be wed.
“In one instance the prophet imagines the desolation and restoration of Zion as a ruptured and healed marriage relationship….
Isaiah speaks of a marriage between G-d and Zion, not between G-d and the people Israel. The city is a mystical embodiment of its inhabitants.”
~Etz Hayim commentary
