Mat 10:36 And a man’s foes [shall be] they of his own household.
I recently became so angry with my family and neighbors that I wished to order them all shackled and chained, imprisoned, only permitted to breech the light of day in order to labour as slaves who might clean the homes of their enemies.
And I remain angry.
Having been wronged and ousted, it is hard to communicate my disappointment and frustration without becoming upset. And residing where I do, does not make matters any easier.
All I’ve ever desired is reconciliation and unity through the bond of peace. Those who are concerned for their own investments and may be overly worried about exposing this or that from their past, are making this difficult, and I feel had me out of the way for the wrong reasons. I know not who to blame. And ultimately it does not matter. I intend to save not condemn, pardon and not persecute. All is forgiven in the L-RD, if we are willing to return to Him, and struggle and strive for righteousness from here on. Now is when opinion may make it hard to decide on what may be righteous or not, Lawful or not, etc. Such is why I always look to the L-RD, who is no respector of persons, and always judges fairly, shewing forth abundant mercy, charity and long-suffering.
The latter tends to wear a person’s patience thin. But the L-RD is patient when we are not so, and considereth the hearts, when ours are bound to grow cold to Him and the Spirit’s counsel.
When we are in Him we know, and when we stray He knows, though we may deny it. Our hearts are deceitful and in the world, one must be shrewd. We try to be as faithful to one another as possible, yet, we often miss the mark and our attempts to make up for the same only fall shorter than would humble repentence. The atoning is the hard part, and we do the best we can in an unlawful, unbelieving world.
I hate being angry toward anyone, nevermind those I care for and have professed to love.
Being not mine to judge, I would to only help free people if ever they were or felt enslaved to anything and imprisoned by sin especially, which makes enjoying life as it ought to be, diffcult for so many taken captive.
Old sages who have been around these parts longer than I have, I automatically have respect unto as elders. I pray I shall never have reason to regret doing so.
The world is the L-RD’s and everything and everyone in it. Judge yourself lest ye be judged. There is an Encourager what walked the earth at one time, who encouraged sinners and unrighteous souls to become perfect and acceptable unto G-d by humbling themselves in service to one another and their enemies, by becoming as children in Spirit, yet wise as old sages in judgment.
G-d does indeed know all, and bestows wisdom upon whomsoever He may. Has mercy on whomsoever He will and withholds it from another for whatsoever reason He may. This alone is NOT ours to judge.. In everything, what matters is His Will be done.
"Human beings" whatever they may be, and I do not and never shall claim to be one, make a mess of the world counting upon themselves and one another, rather than steadfastly serving G-d in all things.
This at one time, and I pray again soon, shall be what makes places like Templeton shine forth as Light in darkness, knowing it is for G-d and by G-d that we shine, if and when we may ever do so.
Some "acts of kindness" are worse than bullet wounds, and rend asunder more speedily than swords and fiery darts of the Enemy of all Life. And more often than not are the very mark of deceit, resentment, and slight held and contained in a vessel of the same, an "bitter root" which doeth much harm, though seemingly gung-ho to assist and aide.
Preaching is for the Preacher. If He giveth thee words, share them at once and with all and many.
Nice thoughts and kind words, etc. may be appreciated, but it’s the thoughts and intents of the L-RD that count.
I figure even an unrighteous lot such as may have betrayed me, must needs have encouragment more oft than not.
I’ve never had much appreciation for kind words and thoughts. I like people to be real with me, and then they don’t get opportunity to be deceitful behind my back, if you know what I mean…
I suffer it that others might escape it, I like to think.
Has to do with those wounds of a friend that may be trusted, and the other that wound unto death and are of the same intent…
In the end, both mine enemies and my friends may be thankful that it were I they chose to wound or try to hurt, for I bear them well, and forgive them all,. Justice may have its day yet, but while I may, I will bestow merciful regards upon one as upon all.
I sin not and mayhap have come upon an solution worthy our great calling as a nation in or under One G-d.
My judgment is unto Salvation. These same people are the reason the entire planet is under a curse.
Deut. 8: 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.
Some wicked schmuck who did not learn repentence nor was humbled by his own suffering, and did not understand the L-RD’s Justice and Mercy, took it upon himself to pay back the L-RD by afflicting His chosen servant, myself, even as he worked overtime to strengthen himself in wickedness. It is biblical history repeating itself once again.
2Ch 18:26 And say, Thus saith the king, Put this [fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.
This would normally save a soul and bring health to a body.
But my enemy, put me in a toxic waste dump, which is when a diet of bread and water of affliction will only speed one’s demise.
You see, by removing me from my home and placing me in an unclean prison-like holding, my enemy wished to discourage me unto abandoning myself and thereby defeat G-d’s purpose in me. I overcame, and we both have benefited from the outcome. Or may?
Because whether or not I was the one shackled and chained, and sentenced unjustly by a court of unjust judges and jury with none right nor authority to do so between the lot of them, the Authority G-d had bestowed upon me remained upon me as long as I sustained my integrity, as I have.
Though my situation remains the same, and is still afflicting me in many ways, the L-RD is upholding and working wonders with what little strength remains in me.
My enemy has done little more than bring into question their own integrity and right to judge. Though for the moment, they remain in power. The power they wield and are enabled by is evil, basely wicked and ignorant of both Justice and Mercy Divine.
Their ability to do as they did unto me, is the fault of Jews and Christians world wide, rather than their own right or power.
For when believers deny a prophet or the Messiah, in word or deed, they condemn G-d to death and expel Him from their lives or existence, and welcome the evil one to reign over them. Yet the L-RD remaineth omnipotent, despite their ploy and play.
It’s all a matter of interpretation and perception; discernment. As in all things and situations, rarely anything is what it seems.
The righteous live by Faith, and hath many an face and manner of being, or weight of carriage as G-d hath attributes heavenly. But in the world, tried and tested constantly, in a million different ways, our mannerisms perplex even our own selves.
We come apart at the seams and mend in every moment of every day, and some days forget we are, or would like to, while others, we own it, and know we do, shewing forth an godly surety and confidence that may not be shaken, though the heavens themselves and the earth beneath them may tremble and quake.
On the other hand, when we face that which we ought rightly to fear; an authority in the world, granted by the Enemy of the same, we know ourselves to be the aliens we are. Though we have successfully negotiated many privileges and benefits due to our willingness to work at relations with the same, working out solutions, means and ways, often at great personal loss or suffering. In the end, all who work not for themselves nor any other in the world, but for G-d alone will alway be a blessing to the whole rather than a burden or costly detachment.
What we suffer from as believers, sheep among wolves, is mostly disease brought about from "sleeping with the enemy."
Why else would whoredoms be so rampant and women of all walks of life so willing, if not eager to defile themselves, if it were not that they were convinced they were dead in their sins and had no other alternative, but to give in and go hog wild?
Pro 11:22 [As] a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, [so is] a fair woman which is without discretion.
The pleasures of lovemaking have become the defilement of getting screwed.
And most often it is the man who is getting screwed despite the function of his member.
Our diet is one in America that was once Our Daily Bread, and has become our avoidance of the same for a daily circus of abominations many.
Why would this be?
Lady Freedom is NOT Lady Liberty.
In order to escape our sins and be washed clean, we must have sacrifice, and of clean animals, not abominable flesh. And for such we must encourage at least a national system of sacrificial living, which demands the construction of a Third Temple in the United States and the destruction of all else we have promulgated as necessary or desirous.
This Beast, America, will not be bridled for the Work that must take place if we are to save this nation.
The Mother Of Abominations thrives on creating abominations and nothing will stop Her but the Lawful.
America is completely lawless, contrary and absurd.
And instead of promoting Our best interest, and my own chosen status, she has worked an insane amount of overtime, to thwart even the possibility of the same ever happening. And all your neighbors, families and friends are either willing or unwilling slaves of this same Evil Head Mistress.
She has endeavored to murder me by design or antidesign, and leave me with no choice but to become abominable or die some pathetic death of cancer ridden pain. Just as my father did, and then call it a genetic failing, even as she wipes the mess from her mouth after gobbling up my flesh and bones, washing down the entire meal with my blood.
Is this Freedom? Nay, it is condemnation.
1Cr 11:26-32 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For this cause many [are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
It is the most cruel, darkly brilliant web of deceit ever devised under heaven and children are indoctrinated from the womb, slaves by the time they reach their thirties or born evil from the womb, knowing exactly what to do, not caring what it costs them, their enemy is Life and Christ from the get go and even before they were created.
Job 21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
Pro 11:23 The desire of the righteous [is] only good: [but] the expectation of the wicked [is] wrath.
This is what keeps people from inheriting the promises of the Almighty, from enjoying abundance and liberty, and from entering the promised land.
Deu 1:32,35 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,
Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
Mal 3:6-18 For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts,if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken [so much] against thee?
Ye have said, It [is] vain to serve God: and what profit [is it] that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, [they that] tempt God are even delivered.
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Mat 23:13-17 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in [yourselves], neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Woe unto you, [ye] blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
[Ye] fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
All they care about is "family," codependency, reptilian parasitical ethics and Nazi like mannerisms. Love work, cannot rest, and must feed. Their families are tribes, hunting their neighbors, and one another.
And this is what they desire, even destruction. To speed on the day of the L-RD, because they are already dead.
Mat 8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
I may seem overly dramatic at times, but it is to drive home a real point. You are in danger, and the only One who may save you is the L-RD, and no one is encouraging you to heed Him and obey Him, unto Liberty. America is selling freedom unto assured slavery world wide.
Job 8:13-14 So [are] the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite’s hope shall perish: Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust [shall be] a spider’s web.
Isa 59:1-9 ¶ Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
None calleth for justice, nor [any] pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
They hatch cockatrice’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works [are] works of iniquity, and the act of violence [is] in their hands.
Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts [are] thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction [are] in their paths.
The way of peace they know not; and [there is] no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, [but] we walk in darkness.
The solution: Mat 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Mankind MUST be humbled.
D&C 105: 6 And my people must needs be chastened until they learn obedience, if it must needs be, by the things which they suffer.
About face! Immediately change your way of thinking or learn to do as you are told. Otherwise, be cut off. Because that is what is coming.
Phl 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
That is why I was and remain locked up in a toxic tomb. The wicked will NOT serve, not even as debtors. They are grateful for NOTHING. All they want is control, to be in charge, able, needed and necessary though caustic, parasitic, and Spiritually handicapped, they perfect evil works, and believe themselves Masters.
They must incapacitate those who are really masters because otherwise, they have no right to exist. They are selfish entities who should have been phased out long ago, and their mastery handicaps reality. Their fight for freedom is a fight against Liberty and for slavery. They serve Death and exist because of it.
They are beasts feeding upon gods. And they hardly even waste time playing with their food anymore.
Psa 14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
Psa 53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
Mic 3:3-4 Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
Even as they wickedly support the salvation of dogs who ride along side hogs in their automobominations, on their way to the Zoo to visit their family and masters.
"Oh, the wheels of the bus go ’round and round, all about the town…"
Satanic Nation from Hell!!!!!!!!!
There in they need not heed commandments nor statutes of living unto Salvation.
Deu 4:1-9, 16-19 ¶ Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do [them], that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought] from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them from among you.
But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God [are] alive every one of you this day.
Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
Keep therefore and do [them]; for this [is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation [is] a wise and understanding people.
For what nation [is there so] great, who [hath] God [so] nigh unto them, as the LORD our God [is] in all [things that] we call upon him [for]?
And what nation [is there so] great, that hath statutes and judgments [so] righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;
Lest ye corrupt [yourselves], and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
The likeness of any beast that [is] on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that [is] in the waters beneath the earth:
And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
Deu 5:6-22, 27b, 29 ¶ I [am] the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me,
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
Neither shalt thou steal.
Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour’s wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour’s house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any [thing] that [is] thy neighbour’s.
These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.
hear [it], and do [it].
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and [that it may be] well with you, and [that] ye may prolong [your] days in the land which ye shall possess.
Deut 6:3a-9, 13-14, 16a, 18-19, 25 Observe to do [it];
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.
Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which [are] round about you;
Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God,
do [that which is] right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the LORD hath spoken.
And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
Heleman 7:9 But behold, I am consigned that these are my days, and that my soul shall be filled with sorrow because of this the wickedness of my brethren.
I am tired…Jeremiah, speak for me…
It was the Lord who made it known to me, and I knew; then you showed me their evil deeds. But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter. And I did not know it was against me that they devised schemes, saying, ‘Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, let us cut him off from the land of the living, so that his name will no longer be remembered!’ But you, O Lord of hosts, who judge righteously, who try the heart and the mind, let me see your retribution upon them, for to you I have committed my cause.
Thus says the Lord concerning all my evil neighbours who touch the heritage that I have given my people Israel to inherit: I am about to pluck them up from their land, and I will pluck up the house of Judah from among them. And after I have plucked them up, I will again have compassion on them, and I will bring them again to their heritage and to their land, every one of them. And then, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As the Lord lives’, as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they shall be built up in the midst of my people. But if any nation will not listen, then I will completely uproot it and destroy it, says the Lord.
Therefore, thus says the Lord: If you turn back, I will take you back, and you shall stand before me. If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless, you shall serve as my mouth. It is they who will turn to you, not you who will turn to them. And I will make you to this people a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail over you, for I am with you to save you and deliver you, says the Lord. I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise. See how they say to me, ‘Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come!’ But I have not run away from being a shepherd in your service, nor have I desired the fatal day. You know what came from my lips; it was before your face. Do not become a terror to me; you are my refuge on the day of disaster; Let my persecutors be shamed, but do not let me be shamed; let them be dismayed, but do not let me be dismayed; bring on them the day of disaster; destroy them with double destruction!
‘Turn now, everyone of you, from your evil way and wicked doings, and you will remain upon the land that the Lord has given to you and your ancestors from of old and for ever; do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, and do not provoke me to anger with the work of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.’ Yet you did not listen to me, says the Lord, and so you have provoked me to anger with the work of your hands to your own harm.
For thus says the Lord: Your hurt is incurable, your wound is grievous. There is no one to uphold your cause, no medicine for your wound, no healing for you. All your lovers have forgotten you; they care nothing for you; for I have dealt you the blow of an enemy, the punishment of a merciless foe, because your guilt is great, because your sins are so numerous. Why do you cry out over your hurt? Your pain is incurable. Because your guilt is great, because your sins are so numerous, I have done these things to you. Therefore all who devour you shall be devoured, and all your foes, every one of them, shall go into captivity; those who plunder you shall be plundered, and all who prey on you I will make a prey. For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion; no one cares for her!’
And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth: a woman encompasses a man.
I will satisfy the weary, and all who are faint I will replenish.
Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord of hosts is his name: If this fixed order were ever to cease from my presence, says the Lord, then also the offspring of Israel would cease to be a nation before me for ever. Thus says the Lord: If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, then I will reject all the offspring of Israel because of all they have done, says the Lord.
Though you rejoice, though you exult, O plunderers of my heritage, though you frisk about like a heifer on the grass, and neigh like stallions, your mother shall be utterly shamed, and she who bore you shall be disgraced.
Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. First the king of Assyria devoured it, and now at the end King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon has gnawed its bones. Therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I punished the king of Assyria. I will restore Israel to its pasture, and it shall feed on Carmel and in Bashan, and on the hills of Ephraim and in Gilead its hunger shall be satisfied. In those days and at that time, says the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and none shall be found; for I will pardon the remnant that I have spared.
How the hammer of the whole earth is cut down and broken!
You set a snare for yourself and you were caught, O Babylon, but you did not know it; you were discovered and seized, because you challenged the Lord.
for she has arrogantly defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
Thus says the Lord of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and so too are the people of Judah; all their captors have held them fast and refuse to let them go. Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name. He will surely plead their cause, that he may give rest to the earth, but unrest to the inhabitants of Babylon.
A sword against the Chaldeans, says the Lord, and against the inhabitants of Babylon, and against her officials and her sages! A sword against the diviners, so that they may become fools! A sword against her warriors, so that they may be destroyed! A sword against her horses and against her chariots, and against all the foreign troops in her midst, so that they may become women! A sword against all her treasures, that they may be plundered! A drought against her waters, that they may be dried up! For it is a land of images, and they go mad over idols.
‘King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon has devoured me, he has crushed me; he has made me an empty vessel, he has swallowed me like a monster; he has filled his belly with my delicacies, he has spewed me out. May my torn flesh be avenged on Babylon,’ the inhabitants of Zion shall say. ‘May my blood be avenged on the inhabitants of Chaldea,’ Jerusalem shall say. Therefore thus says the Lord: I am going to defend your cause and take vengeance for you.
Come out of her, my people! Save your lives, each of you, from the fierce anger of the Lord! Do not be faint-hearted or fearful at the rumours heard in the land— one year one rumour comes, the next year another, rumours of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler.
The peoples exhaust themselves for nothing, and the nations weary themselves only for fire.
And now David…
Psa 9:13-16 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble [which I suffer] of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
The heathen are sunk down in the pit [that] they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.
Psa 25:1-3, 19-21 ¶ Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
Psa 55:3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
Psa 71:1-24 ¶ In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou [art] my rock and my fortress.
Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
For thou [art] my hope, O Lord GOD: [thou art] my trust from my youth.
By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise [shall be] continually of thee.
I am as a wonder unto many; but thou [art] my strong refuge.
Let my mouth be filled [with] thy praise [and with] thy honour all the day.
Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.
For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,
Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for [there is] none to deliver [him].
O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
Let them be confounded [and] consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered [with] reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.
But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness [and] thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers [thereof].
I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, [even] of thine only.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto [this] generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come.
Thy righteousness also, O God, [is] very high, who hast done great things: O God, who [is] like unto thee!
[Thou], which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.
I will also praise thee with the psaltery, [even] thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.
Psa 119:95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: [but] I will consider thy testimonies.
Psa 142:6-7 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
Gen 42:21 And they said one to another, We [are] verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us.
