An Bridge 2 Captivity

For all roads lead to Rome..

And lo’ Romans, there will be many speed bumps ahead…

When I was a child, I used to go with my family to visit my grandparents, who lived on Cape Cod.

We would drive, and it would take roughly two to three hours to make the journey.

Always, when we arrived, the immediate conversation would be how much or little traffic there may or may not have been coming over the Bridge Sagamore or Bourne, depending on which route we had traveled and either’s availability. These bridges spanning the Cape Cod Canal at two parallel points upon the same, were a great joy to mine and my sibling’s little eyes of wonder to look out upon. Gazing in marvelous wonder at the expanse of sea and sky, and the behemoth bridges themselves; so solidly crafted, ensuring safe travel to all who might venture over them. Such was the Promise of Massachusetts when She was young. And all Patriots, though they have strayed far in all directions from their Lord, remain if not allegiant, at least aware of these bygone promises and our failure to keep the least of them, for the greed and impatience of our members. Such is the lot of boys and their Lady in want/need of a Lord. The boys eager to turn her into a Beast of pleasure fulfilling decadence and violence, heap flattery and tribute upon her skirts. They’ve rape and terror in their hearts, lust in their members, and obscenity in their imaginations.

Not an one is fit for service in any army under Heaven, nor for the least menial of tasks in any society, under any circumstances or in any predicaments that may come upon Her Lady and has from all directions. (Ezek. 4) The Beast, hungry for action and nothing more, has brought it upon Herself. She cares not for heritage, right, innocence, justice, mercy, or right judgment. She wants only to fulfill Her insipid thirst and vagrant’s hunger, all the while dressed in the costliest of evening gowns, in the most glamorous of settings Hollywood may afford and create for Her Ladydrip…

At any rate, at the time, I never gave it much thought, these conversations about the traffic. I was far too jittery from having been in the abominable mechanism Americans treasure more than life. Too thankful to be out and able to run about with my siblings and cousins around our merry little home and yard/neighborhood. It was all and more than I had ever dreamed of and I could wish for nothing more, than days without end filled with the same childish games and banal conversation, until the sunset and we welcomed supper and bedtime activities, swearing we’d never fall asleep, begging to remain up for a television program or anything other than bed. Nevertheless, falling into a deep slumber the moment our heads hit the pillow upon a bed, whose covers had been lovingly drawn down by an grandparent’s dutiful, mindful patriarchal or matriarchal care.

The same treatment was not available at home, because of the Beast’s success in setting my mother and father against one another and breaking up our home when I was too young and unaware that we were all in the hands of our Enemy and subject to his evil. As safe as we were in jeopardy…

Such is what men and women consider to be a fair and just society, and which Israelites the world over know is the cost of being sojourners in a Creation at odds with Her Creator, whose societal understanding and Kingdom despondency are the corrupt cumulation of ages of combative justice and reward inaccurately, and frequently unjustly bestowed upon vessels unworthy, who must and often do reign over the worthy, in what is more game than relationship of jurisprudence "shuckyadoodence."

What I mean to say is, that the Beast, though it deserve nonesuch, must receive its due, most especially when it labour to assist that which cometh from above in establishing the Kingdom of the Same upon earth…But the demands of Her society are so cold and opposed to that Kingdom which She must labour for if She wish to have Her way with the world and it’s amassed wealth and population’s strength and talent, that the Work is most often an impossibility, which when it does succeed to any degree of success is at the cost of many a crucified soul and whose consequences are morbidly hilarious or tragically mournful, depending on your allegiance and outlook. For the Kingdom that is above must reign in holiness and any degree of association and participation with the world, is a tragedy, corruption and dereliction.

The Way easy is not one which reaps castles, skyscrapers, bridges, vast concrete jungles of supply and demand. But one which leads unto a single most immaculate Temple of Grace and Miracle, and a society of people’s willing to live in tents with none but the Spirit and the gifts of a Just and Holy Creator to sustain them in their day to day worshipful lives and labours.

I did not speak very often with my grandfather, whom the womenfolk would take what seemed to me to be a bit too much pleasure in regaling the tale of traffic woes in front of. And he, reacting not at all to the conversation one way or the other and in whichever direction they wished for it to go, would sit silently and not be appeased until the afternoon brought him lunch served by his dutiful spouse, or the evening a glass of scotch mixed by his favourite 3 to 5 foot tall and growing bartender, myself, and then would be tucked into an bed as dutifully prepared as we children’s own.

My grand father rarely drove, loathed smoking, did not speak unless there was a good reason to do so, was wisely bigoted genius of rare character and propriety.

And yet, for all this, there was a great sadness about him, and he spent most of his time alone.

Great men are often set at naught, scorned and disregarded the moment they may be so institutionalized. While every wicked bozo with no more than a flask of whiskey in their pockets, an will to evil and lying tongue, in the name of a filthy dreamer’s parasitical motorcade of lechery and nefarious deedom, whose Master is an Evil Dragon what lies and waits beneath for souls unfortunate enough to continue in their sins, trusting in the American Way, forsaking the L-rd, their GOD, even when a nonbelieving simpleton may clearly see the precipice of doom what lays ahead in clear sight of all, and all our end to be a bitter and eternal one…

You see, my grandfather knew the importance of this one thing above all: Quitting while your ahead, so that others may enjoy, the road he’d paved, or trail he’d traveled and he might sit and be there to welcome them when they reached the age and time of rest. This is a sure sign of lordship or kingship. Benevolence rarely bestowed and regarded as anything worth men’s trouble and time. Much like the Torah itself, which virtually the entire world has forsaken.

We’ve generations upon generations of wrong thought and intention to overcome, and which must be overcome overnight.

One of the most important obstacles to overcome is the Christian Right and the law of the land, the justice of which is blind and therefore mostly fictional and/or absent, and I am not sure which is worse.

Insanity within our nation breeds at wildfire pace, as is evident on the West Coast of our nation. Here on the Eastern shore the greater man has always sought to stem the tide and make the most of the shipwrecks with compassionate care, an enduring hierarchy of privilege and a sound, in reason, condemnation of vanity and tyranny while permitting freedom to explore personal limits and what may turn out to be vain creativity, an overabundance of which clogs all our lives with the unnecessary and cumbersome. Trash removers and recycling efforts rightly deemed more important than collectors and incorporators thereof. Though I myself, am guilty of the pleasure of having more than once enjoyed an afternoon’s viewing of the popular ’70’s sitcom Sanford & Son.

It is fun and enjoyable when first we set off on the trail to self evolvement and accomplishment, believing with all our frail hearts in a system that supposedly or which seemingly enables every citizen of a so-called free nation who are, as we vainly suppose, self-evidentially equal, to become self-sufficient, when any idiot may look around or within and see plainly and feel painfully that huge numbers of souls are entirely dependent upon the whims of a bestial monstrousity of a government lawless of a necessity, I say, needful because they encourage and more, have the obligation to the righteous and the just, to bait the wicked and dispense of the same in an even greater and more violent comeuppance of justice than the wicked themselves are capable of brandishing.

We the selfish, do hold these truths to be self-evident.

Veritable devils do threaten and make war against the same, whilst lambs scattered throughout, in a State of distrust, confusion and angst venture to make the most of every available opportunity to ransom a share of American pie, making their way from one stupid social obligation to another at the whim and depraved will of the GrandMum of them all, Lady Livery. Entirely overlooking and trodding upon the spinal chords of Her what won their Freedom to be borne at Liberty in He who created both We and She.

Thankless rats!

The meeting point of the Right Wing and the Left Wing is the Body which doth unfurl the same in Majesty. To gain altitude and soar, the frame and pinions, head and tail must be in accord with the Mind and Will of That Spirit
which speaks to the inner mechanisms of the feathered creature’s Constitution. Such requires a sense unnumbered and most rare in the individual worthy of a throne and crown. An individual at once recognizable and unrecognized. An individual embraced yet incapable of being held. Cased yet unattainable and unemployable. Whose presence is enjoyed yet unenjoyable. A secret agent man whose agency is incapable of secrecy. One who is neither here nor there, yet everywhere at work in everything at once, and upon whose head, no thornless crown might seem right, nor sit justly. But indeed and as a matter of consequence be worn and worn out, sooner or later.

With Jesus or Y’shua, everday was like a constant Sabbath, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But in the world, few are capable of maintaining such pure devotion and holiness.

Jhn 3:19-20 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Jhn 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

Evil works and fruits produce evil kingdoms, which may not be reigned over by holy and just kings of a King.

The best leaders assist and serve those who might follow. whether it cost them their leadership rights or not to do so.

Thus the few who are left and are now realizing the cost of allegiance to a Beast instead of a G-d are more than any man or king may afford the ransom price of himself or his nation and people, are at a loss as to how to come together and fulfill the covenants and promises their fathers made to G-d in this nation, upon this Land once Bountiful, now full of decay and deceit, greed and gluttony, angst, anger and animosity.

Lo’, their reward…

The Imminence and Horror of the Invasion

Flee for safety, O children of Benjamin,
from the midst of Jerusalem!
Blow the trumpet in Tekoa,
and raise a signal on Beth-haccherem;
for evil looms out of the north,
and great destruction.
I have likened daughter Zion
to the loveliest pasture.
Shepherds with their flocks shall come against her.
They shall pitch their tents around her;
they shall pasture, all in their places.
‘Prepare war against her;
up, and let us attack at noon!’
‘Woe to us, for the day declines,
the shadows of evening lengthen!’
‘Up, and let us attack by night,
and destroy her palaces!’
For thus says the Lord of hosts:
Cut down her trees;
cast up a siege-ramp against Jerusalem.
This is the city that must be punished;
there is nothing but oppression within her.
As a well keeps its water fresh,
so she keeps fresh her wickedness;
violence and destruction are heard within her;
sickness and wounds are ever before me.
Take warning, O Jerusalem,
or I shall turn from you in disgust,
and make you a desolation,
an uninhabited land.

Thus says the Lord of hosts:
Glean thoroughly as a vine
the remnant of Israel;
like a grape-gatherer, pass your hand again
over its branches.

To whom shall I speak and give warning,
that they may hear?
See, their ears are closed,
they cannot listen.
The word of the Lord is to them an object of scorn;
they take no pleasure in it.
But I am full of the wrath of the Lord;
I am weary of holding it in.

Pour it out on the children in the street,
and on the gatherings of young men as well;
both husband and wife shall be taken,
the old folk and the very aged.
Their houses shall be turned over to others,
their fields and wives together;
for I will stretch out my hand
against the inhabitants of the land,

says the Lord.

For from the least to the greatest of them,
everyone is greedy for unjust gain;
and from prophet to priest,
everyone deals falsely.
They have treated the wound of my people carelessly,
saying, ‘Peace, peace’,
when there is no peace.
They acted shamefully, they committed abomination;
yet they were not ashamed,
they did not know how to blush.
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,

says the Lord.
Thus says the Lord:
Stand at the crossroads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way lies; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
Also I raised up sentinels for you:
‘Give heed to the sound of the trumpet!’
But they said, ‘We will not give heed.’
Therefore hear, O nations,
and know, O congregation, what will happen to them.
Hear, O earth; I am going to bring disaster on this people,
the fruit of their schemes,
because they have not given heed to my words;
and as for my teaching, they have rejected it.
Of what use to me is frankincense that comes from Sheba,
or sweet cane from a distant land?
Your burnt-offerings are not acceptable,
nor are your sacrifices pleasing to me.
Therefore thus says the Lord:
See, I am laying before this people
stumbling-blocks against which they shall stumble;
parents and children together,
neighbour and friend shall perish.

Thus says the Lord:
See, a people is coming from the land of the north,
a great nation is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth.
They grasp the bow and the javelin,
they are cruel and have no mercy,
their sound is like the roaring sea;
they ride on horses,
equipped like a warrior for battle,
against you, O daughter Zion!

‘We have heard news of them,
our hands fall helpless;
anguish has taken hold of us,
pain as of a woman in labour.
Do not go out into the field,
or walk on the road;
for the enemy has a sword,
terror is on every side.’

O my poor people, put on sackcloth,
and roll in ashes;
make mourning as for an only child,
most bitter lamentation:
for suddenly the destroyer
will come upon us.

I have made you a tester and a refiner among my people
so that you may know and test their ways.
They are all stubbornly rebellious,
going about with slanders;
they are bronze and iron,
all of them act corruptly.
The bellows blow fiercely,
the lead is consumed by the fire;
in vain the refining goes on,
for the wicked are not removed.
They are called ‘rejected silver’,
for the Lord has rejected them.

At that time, says the Lord, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs; and they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have followed, and which they have inquired of and worshipped; and they shall not be gathered or buried; they shall be like dung on the surface of the ground. Death shall be preferred to life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family in all the places where I have driven them, says the Lord of hosts.

I have given heed and listened,
but they do not speak honestly;
no one repents of wickedness,
saying, ‘What have I done!’

Thus says the Lord: Do not let the wise boast in their wisdom, do not let the mighty boast in their might, do not let the wealthy boast in their wealth; but let those who boast boast in this, that they understand and know me, that I am the Lord; I act with steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for in these things I delight, says the Lord.

Thus shall you say to them: The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.

Not like these is the Lord, the portion of Jacob,
for he is the one who formed all things,
and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance;
the Lord of hosts is his name.

Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not know you,
and on the peoples that do not call on your name;
for they have devoured Jacob;
they have devoured him and consumed him,
and have laid waste his habitation.

It was the Lord who made it known to me, and I knew;
then you showed me their evil deeds.
But I was like a gentle lamb
led to the slaughter.
And I did not know it was against me
that they devised schemes, saying,
‘Let us destroy the tree with its fruit,
let us cut him off from the land of the living,
so that his name will no longer be remembered!’
But you, O Lord of hosts, who judge righteously,
who try the heart and the mind,
let me see your retribution upon them,
for to you I have committed my cause.

Thus says the Lord concerning all my evil neighbours who touch the heritage that I have given my people Israel to inherit: I am about to pluck them up from their land, and I will pluck up the house of Judah from among them. And after I have plucked them up, I will again have compassion on them, and I will bring them again to their heritage and to their land, every one of them. And then, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As the Lord lives’, as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they shall be built up in the midst of my people. But if any nation will not listen, then I will completely uproot it and destroy it, says the Lord.

But if you will not listen,
my soul will weep in secret for your pride;
my eyes will weep bitterly and run down with tears,
because the Lord’s flock has been taken captive.
