"It is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scripture because this bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus himself," she said. "We need to sound the alarm about what is being done in the Congress."~Hillary Clinton
Someone doesn’t know the Lord nor belong to Him…at least she’s semi-honest and states, her beliefs are based on her understanding of the Scriptures, as if her understanding mattered at all…
Psa 111:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.
It is essential to think and be like a criminal when policing criminals.
If an immigrant is entering America for the wrong reasons, then we must mark them and treat them like felons.
However, the real crime is not one against immigrants and illegal aliens, it’s one done against our citizens and citizens to be…They are not taught the Way of the LORD of the Land.
We are in the midst of a covert civil war, and such calls for deception and serpentine wisdom. During such, a lot of unnecessary and painful losses on both sides occur. Such is the price of "Freedom."
Divine Liberty is granted to all and all, no matter where they are. That is why it is essential to treat illegal aliens like criminals, because they are not entering America to enjoy and share Divine Liberty but to partake of the "freedoms" offered of a Nation that permits and protects the right of a few to enjoy these "freedoms" and to sin quite blantantly and openly so long as they adhere to an understanding that the LORD of the land IS the LORD of the land, and they may be called upon to work "dirty deeds" to protect the Divine Liberty that righteous souls in America live out, cherish and share with one another and the world because they do indeed love the LORD of the land.
These patriots, we shall call them, do not necessarily love the LORD of the land, but they know not to cross certain lines and how precarious their own "freedom" is and what they choose to do to protect that "freedom" is up to them. There really is a great deal of room for ingenuity in government, and they may work mockery and deception to their bitter heart’s content, as long as there are people who desire illicit freedom over Divine Liberty.
The enemy of the Spanish people of Mexico are the mockers who rallied to demonstrate in LA and other cities. And most of them know it, which makes them doubly perverse and vile. The really funny part is, the lords of America already are it’s "custodians, dishwashers, construction workers and other low-paid employees," which these protestors consider some kind of crime against America for suggesting as their only right if they choose to stay in America rather than be treated as criminals and deported. The Lord Himself came to serve and not to be served.
If you’re entering America for the wrong reasons, you will be served, and you wont like what’s on the menu.
Bush is endeavoring to be polite and tactful about the issue, because, as I said in my last entry, he is nobly trying to resurrect something that most of his contemporaries are unconcerned with and are willing to sacrifice for their own bellies and bank accounts.
"The immigration debate should be conducted in a civil and dignified way," Bush said. "No one should play on people’s fears, or try to pit neighbors against each other. No one should pretend that immigrants are threats to America’s identity, because immigrants have shaped America’s identity. No one should claim that immigrants are a burden on our economy, because the work and enterprise of immigrants helps sustain our economy."
Finally sounding like the leader he really is! Though I do not agree with the "enterprise" bit…
We only offer the foreigner the opportunity to achieve his dreams as a way of condemning them for even trying, sadly. In fact, the whole quote is a bit of a joke. He’s playing with his audience. For, in Christendom, that is exactly what is necessary: Division in the name of Unity. Those who know, will know, those who don’t, don’t matter anyway…But if we were righteous, ought to.
Perhaps we will become so again…
Let us turn to the Scriptures for understanding, insight and direction:
2Ki 17:25-29; 32-1 And [so] it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, [that] they feared not the LORD: therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which slew [some] of them.
Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.
Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.
Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put [them] in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.
So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.
They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.
Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.
And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.
And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods.
But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.
Howbeit they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner.
So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
These "lions" exist here in America and are very real and quite hungry.
1Pe 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
If you wish to enter any realm that is not your own, always do so with unfeigned humility and bowed adoration of He who is the LORD of all realms.
Isa 45:15-25 Verily thou [art] a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together [that are] makers of idols.
[But] Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.
I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye [that are] escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god [that] cannot save.
Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Surely, shall [one] say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: [even] to him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
Lev 19:34 [But] the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I [am] the LORD your God.
Deu 10:19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Isa 56:6-8 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon mine altar;for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather [others] to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
"Pesah is the quintessential festival of particularity. We celebrate the birth of the Israelites as a nation freed from the oppression of Egypt. Given the Torah’s sacred mantra in the aftermath of the Exodus, however, it would appear that the true message of Pesah is more universal and global in scope. For Torah cautions numerous times, "remember that you were a slave in Egypt," for the Israelites indeed know well the soul of one who is oppressed. Torah mandates that a lesson be learned: the stranger in one’s midst is to be respected, not exploited. Care and respect must not only be given to the particular Israelite, but it must become a universal value.
May our particularity always be a path toward respecting both ourselves and "the other" in our midst."~Rabbi Matthew Berkowitz
